LEEDSTOWN United Youth Football Club under 12s team played and won their first game of the season in their brand new strip.
The new kit, which has been sponsored by the Porthminster Hotel, St Ives, made its first appearance on the pitch during Leedstown's 7-3 victory over Falmouth Town last week with Cameron Jones scoring six goals and Charlie Perrin scoring one.
Terry Myatt, manager of Leedstown United YFC, said: "As team manager I and everybody involved in Leedstown Youth Football Club would like to express our gratitude to the Porthminster Hotel for their generous support of our young players this season."
The club is also looking for new players, both boys and girls, aged between eight and 11. For more information visit www.joshua-tree.co.uk/leedstown/index.html
