A TOTAL of 48 fish have been brought to the scales during August by members of Camborne Angling Association, of which 34 were from the shore and 13 from the boat sections respectively.
Of the 48 fish, 33 qualified for the CFSA, 23 from the shore and 10 from the boat.
Results from the shore section are: Phil Mitchell, senior, shore, bass, 3.235, 7, 2, 2, 89.143; P Knuckey, senior, shore, mullet (g grey), 0.795, 1, 21, 1, 87.652; Misha Ninnis, junior, shore, mullet (g grey), 0.740, 1, 10, 2, 81.588; Nicky Pryor, senior, shore, mullet (thick lip), 1.841, 4, 0, 15, 81.173; Sue Rule, lady, shore, LSD, 1.163, 2, 9, 0, 78.901.
Boat section: Jason Hawke, senior, boat, smooth hound, 5.772, 12, 11, 10, 84.832; P Broscombe, senior, boat, pouting, 1.336, 2, 15, 2, 84.131; Jason Hawke, senior, boat, wrasse (cuckoo), 0.549, 1, 3, 6, 80.735; Jason Hawke, senior, boat, gurnard (red), 0.705, 1, 8, 14, 77.729; Shane Bennett, senior, boat, pouting, 1.220, 2, 11, 1, 76.826.
Thirteen fish were also entered into the CFSA junior competition, one from Misha Ninnis, a golden grey mullet of 01.10.02lb, a round dozen from Jason Rule, his best being a LSD of 02.07.03lb.
Sue Rule was the only female to weigh fish in the women's CFSA competition with three fish being entered, the best being a LSD of 02.09.00lb.
In the club anglers table the lead is still being held by Dave Hamill with 619.517%, with Nicky Pryor second with 564.127% and third being 549.393%.
These are all based upon their best seven species.
