Porthleven's Apostolic Church, tucked away amongst the fishermen's cottages of Thomas Street, will be the venue for a 2007 Macmillan Cancer Support coffee morning this Friday, September 28.
Running from 10am to 12 noon, there will be a large selection of home-made cakes, teas and coffee and items for sale to raise funds for the cause.
Sarah Chaplin, the event's co-ordinator said: "Last year's event was a huge success and £260 was raised for Macmillan. A generous neighbour has donated a coffee machine for us to use so we will be serving freshly made, quality coffee. If you are in the area, please call in."
