Children from Halwin Community Pre-School visited Trevaskis Farm to experience the fun of fruit picking.
The group of staff, parents, grandparents and children collected apples and strawberries which will be sold as jam at the school's Harvest Festival next week, with proceeds going to the Cornwall Air Ambulance.
Rachel Oliver, play leader, said: "We organise a couple of outings every half term to enhance children's learning outside of the pre-school.
"Everyone had a good day and ate lots of fruit. We would like to thank Trevaskis Farm for being so helpful and welcoming."
The Harvest Festival will take place next Friday October 5 at the pre-school and starts at 10am. Children will sell soup, bread rolls and jam as well as drawing a raffle to raise funds for the air ambulance.
