A Truro hotel is launching a special breakfast menu using locally sourced and homemade products ensuring this breakfast is the most important meal of your day.
The Alverton Manor Hotel has created the menu as part of October's Cornwall Celebration of Food, which is run in partnership with Taste of the West.
Taking place in both Cornwall and Devon, with over 50 events in Cornwall, it is the largest food festival in the South West.
Richard Harrison, Alverton's manager, said: "Cornwall has some magnificent food producers, we like to use local independent suppliers as often as we can.
"I think celebrating Cornish food is an excellent idea.
"It will hopefully raise peoples' awareness of just how much food is produced here and I'm passionate about reducing food mileage."
Alverton will be serving the breakfast menu for a week starting on Monday 8 October until Sunday 14, open to non-residents.
The large menu consists of a cold buffet selection, including Cornish yoghurt and Alverton's very own marmalade and jam, or try the hotel's homemade sausages as part of the cooked breakfast, along with local eggs and bacon.
There is also a list of special breakfasts including pancakes, haddock and locally smoked salmon.
"These breakfasts will be an excellent way to start the day and taste fantastic, as local and homemade food always tastes better," added Richard.
