THE age of 60 is a significant figure this year, especially if you went to Quarry School in Falmouth, because a reunion for the ladies of that age is just around the corner.
It is being staged with a buffet lunch at the Royal Duchy Hotel on Sunday, October 14, at 1 pm.
Tickets are £10. Mrs Pauline Moyle (nee Winn) and Christine Black-Borow (nee Symonds), who are organising the event, said it is for ladies only and for those only who were born in 1947-48 and will be 60 this year. The forms were 1A, 1B, 1C, and 1D (one of the forms is pictured above).
They are still attempting to track down pupils such as Christine Bate, Marie Potter, Vicky Goldsworthy, Noreen Dobson, and Jennifer Row.
Teachers are also being sought and among those proving elusive are Mr Simpson, Mr Curnow, Mr Cope, Mr Copeland, Mrs Jackson, Mrs Andrew, Mrs Crate, and Miss Buzza.
Mrs Moyle can be contacted on 01326 317639 and Mrs Black-Borow on 01208 76057.
