Decked in flashing bunny ears and holding glow sticks, 200 women joined together in a very different girl's night out, to support Cornwall Hospice Care, on Saturday night.
Wearing their limited edition, Midnight Walk T-shirts and anything and everything that glowed or flashed, ladies from all over Cornwall took to the streets of Cornwall's captial on the stroke of midnight, for what is believed to be Cornwall's first ever charity midnight walk.
Supported by over 40 volunteers, the ladies, wearing a range of funky outfits, valiantly tramped the streets of Truro throughout the early hours, to raise in the region of an amazing £30,000.
Appeals Manager Annie Binding said: "The women of Cornwall have proved themselves to be innovative, invincible and up for a challenge! The amount raised from this ladies only event is fantastic, and will go a long way towards the £5 million it currently costs to provide hospice care across the county.
"Put 200 ladies together and you can't get anything other than a huge party, and that's what hit Truro on Saturday night! Enhanced by an almost full moon against a stunningly clear sky, the atmosphere was electric from start to finish and we can't thank everyone enough who has been involved in making this event a huge success," she added.
