Fire fighters from Falmouth and Redruth rushed to Quarry Hill, Falmouth after a fire alarm went off in a block of flats last night.
On arrival the crew from Falmouth found that there had been a small cooker fire, which was already out.
It was just after 9.30pm when firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the flat to vent the smoke and make the area safe.
