BUDOCK: PARISH CHURCH: A large congregation enjoyed the service of sung eucharist, in which the sermon by the Rev Geoffrey Bennett focused on the need for St Budock to be a Biblical Church and to follow the teaching of the Bible, which, he said, is not a dusty tome to be put aside but a design for living today in a caring Christian way. The organist was Mr R Fletcher and the lessons were read by Mrs P Williams and Mr D Williams.
Work is almost finished on the choir vestry with the laying of the new carpet imminent. Preparations for the Harvest Festival are nearing completion when the morning service will be followed by a Harvest lunch.
