YOUTH windsurfing team the Roseland Wave Riders from St Mawes will represent the South West - South region this weekend when they battle it out against some of the country's best windsurfing teams at the RYA's (Royal Yachting Association's) Team15 (T15) National Championship Final: the 2007 T15 Champions Cup.
The Wave Riders won three of the four hotly-contested regional heats of the competition this summer - and the four members of the high-achieving Grayston family, Daniel (15), Gemma (13), Adam (12) and Lucy (8) will be ones to watch as the team heads for the final.
The Champions Cup will be held on Rutland Water, Leicestershire, and nearly 100 kids from eight other regional champion teams will congregate on the water ready to fight it out over two days of racing for the highly sought after T15 National Champion 2007 title. Individual honours will also be up for grabs across the five sail size classes contested.
