Villagers around the Helston and Lizard area were creating a huge stir, but it was all in aid of a good cause.
Communities across the region were joining in the annual World's Biggest Coffee Morning event in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Among those holding fundraisers were dedicated trio April Combellack, June Tiplady and Ruth Tripp, who have generated thousands of pounds for Macmillan over the past eight years.
The threesome used their usual venue at Trinity Methodist Church, Porkellis, to host another successful event on Friday in memory of April and June's mother, and Ruth's mother-in-law, Evelyn Tripp.
Also brewing up a storm were members of Porthleven's Apostolic Church, who held a coffee morning including a large selection of home-made cakes for sale to raise funds for Macmillan.
Similar fundraising events took place at venues including St Martin Methodist Church hall and Manaccan village hall.
