Postal deliveries throughout the mid and west Cornwall area continue to be disrupted today as the current strike by mail staff moved into its second stage.
Some deliveries were carried out yesterday and today by those postmen not taking strike action but the majority of mail has begun stacking up in sorting offices.
Many companies were understood to be relying on e.mail for communication and alternative delivery companies for parcels and other goods.
The 48 hour strike by postal workers is expected to end tomorrow but more disruption is likely to follow.
Pay talks with Royal Mail are currently at stalemate.
