Falmouth's very own Monopoly board has hit the shelves – and the Packet has its very own square.
Nestled in between A&P and Prince of Wales Pier in the red, the Packet joins Falmouth landmarks such as Pendennis Castle and Gyllyngvase Beach to name a few.
Board makers Winning Moves UK have Packet readers to thank for their suggestions after a successful campaign in September.
Afolabi Omotola, custom games executive from Winning Moves, said: “Falmouth is one of the most beautiful towns I've ever visited - it explains why it’s a hot holiday destination in the summer.
"Falmouth attracts people of all ages to the town and is a key place to visit when in Cornwall, we thought it was only right that the best 28 places around Falmouth are immortalised forever on a Falmouth Monopoly board.”
Jacob's Ladder, Princess Pavilion, Harbour Lights and Falmouth University all make an appearance, and many of the Community Chest and Chance cards have been given a special Falmouth makeover.
Players could be sent back three spaces for struggling to find parking, or could be rewarded for spotting famous celebrities in town.
The special edition includes everything from heritage and fine dining through to beaches and festivals, and the original playing tokens have been replaced with bespoke metal holiday-themed items such as ice-cream cones and flip-flops.
The board is available for £30 from all major retailers in Falmouth including The Works, and is also available from online retailers such as Amazon and Ebay.
