POST deliveries in the TR postcode area are exceeding targets, a new report has revealed.
Royal Mail’s Quality of Service report for the first quarter of 2019-20 financial year reveals it has exceeded its regulatory First Class mail target in the TR postcode area, with 94.1 per cent of this mail delivered the next working day.
Overall, Royal Mail passed its regulatory target for First Class mail, delivering 93.3 per cent the next working day, against a target of 93 per cent.
For Second Class mail, Royal Mail exceeded its regulatory target, delivering 98.8 per cent of this mail within three working days.
Joe Massey, service delivery leader for Royal Mail, said: “We are delighted with our First Class performance in this area. We take our Quality of Service requirements extremely seriously and our postmen and postwomen work hard to deliver high standards of service to all our customers across the UK.”
