A Penryn cafe and arts venue is holding a Christmas 'friendship day' offering people the chance to get together and tackle loneliness.
It takes place on Christmas Day from midday until 5pm at The Fish Factory on Commercial Road.
Organisers are inviting "those who need company, those who need a bite to eat in good company, those who want something to smile about and those who wish to play acoustic music."
They added: "This is where friendships begin. Stay all day, as many cups of tea or coffee as you like, have some hot food, read a book, watch a bit of telly, listen to some music."
Vegan food donations are welcome. Anybody wishing to volunteer is also welcome to turn up on the day and help out.
Rob Burns, Keith Allen and Rose Hatcher from The Fish Factory will be there on the day.
Everyone is welcome.
