Next in Truro will be closing in January next year.
The retailer has announced the closing date for its town centre store, which has traded for more than 30 years.
A spokesperson said that running the store was no longer profitable. They added that the company has signed an agreement to lease a store at a proposed new retail park in Threemilestone.
A spokesperson said: "After over 30 years of trading in Truro town centre, we will cease trading in January 2021.
"Despite our disappointment that we are no longer able to trade profitably at our store in Truro town centre, we do hope to maintain a presence in Truro and have signed an agreement to lease a store at the proposed Hendra Retail Park in the Threemilestone area.
"We sincerely hope the upcoming planning committee grants consent for the new retail park and look forward to welcoming our customers to the new store."
