Almost 60 children and five staff members at a primary school in Falmouth are isolating at home today following a confirmed cases of coronavirus.
Cornwall Council said there had been two positive test results of Covid-19 at St Francis School.
The Department for Education and the council are now working together to support staff, parents and the children at the school.
A council spokesperson said that 59 children and five members of staff are isolating at home, inline with the latest government guidance.

He added: "Cornwall Council’s public health team will continue to work closely with the school to ensure appropriate action is taken.
"Additional cleaning of the school has taken place and the school remains open for all other pupils, who should attend as normal if they are well."
Rachel Wigglesworth, interim director of public health for Cornwall Council, said: “St Francis Primary School have acted quickly in response to the confirmed case and we are working with them to provide advice and guidance in line with our local outbreak management plan.”
It comes only 24 hours after Penryn Primary Academy also confirmed that one of its year groups was isolating after a confirmed case.

The council added: "We need to remind everyone to help us limit the spread of the virus by adhering to Public Health advice.
"To stay Covid safe everyone should wash their hands regularly for at least 20 seconds using soap and water or using hand sanitiser, not gather in groups of more than six, follow social distancing measures by keeping two metres apart if you can, keeping to school bubbles and wearing face masks in line with government advice."
