A case of coronavirus has been confirmed in a primary school in Truro.
The confirmed case is at St Mary’s C of E School in Higher Trehaverne.
A spokesperson from Cornwall Council said: “The Department for Education and Cornwall Council are working together to support staff, parents and the children at St Marys C of E Primary School, following a confirmed case of Covid-19 at the setting.
“30 children and five staff are isolating at home in line with the latest government guidance.

"Cornwall Council’s public health team will continue to work closely with the school to ensure appropriate action is taken.
"Additional cleaning of the school has taken place and the school remains open for all other pupils, who should attend as normal if they are well.”
St Mary’s follows numerous other schools across the county in having confirmed cases of Covid-19.
