Latest figures which breakdown positive Covid-19 cases by age group still show the 20-29 age group to have the highest number of cases in Cornwall and other local authority areas – except Torbay.
In Cornwall - as well as Plymouth and the Devon County Council area - the 20-29 age group is still seeing the highest prevalence of cases, just as last week.
But in Torbay, that is only the third highest age range, with both the 40-49 and 50-59 age ranges seeing more positive tests.
The figures relate to positive cases reported this week between October 28 and November 3, although do not necessarily relate to specimens from that time period.
Cornwall is also seeing 14 per cent of cases in the 60+ age range (up from nine per cent), but a decrease from 22 per cent to 16 per cent in the 10-19 age range
Across the region, the 50-59 age group is seeing proportionally more cases than the 40-49 and 30-39 age ranges, except for in Plymouth.
Torbay has a higher number of new cases being reported in both the 60-69 and the 70-79 age group than the 10-19 age group - the only area in Devon and Cornwall to do so, and the Bay has the highest rate of cases for the 80-89 and 90+ age groups.
