Strong winds combined with high tides have seen huge waves breaking on Cornwall's coastline this week.
From churning seas filled with white froth off Falmouth, to spray flying up over the road as waves crashed into the sea wall at Coverack, they have created a spectacular sight for those watching from a safe distance.
The conditions have prompted a number of warnings from emergency services not to get too close, with coastguards forced to close the roads and coastal footpaths near Falmouth's beaches on more than one occasion this week.
People have also been reminded of the dangers they put not only themselves in but the lives of the emergency services staff and volunteers that will have to go in and rescue them if they enter the water in bad conditions or get too near and are swept in.

For Packet Camera Club members who have been training their lenses on the sea from a removed distance, while out taking their daily exercise, it has been a chance to capture some impressive shots of the power of nature.
A selection can be found below – and if you want to be part of the action join the Packet Camera Club on Facebook here. A selection of members' photos can also be seen in all editions of the Packet newspaper every Wednesday.
*Always keep well away from the sea when it is rough. If you find yourself, or someone else, in trouble on the coast call 999 and ask for the Coastguard.
