Two Cornish coastguard teams have had a busy day yesterday after they responded to several reports of people hurt after falling.
Falmouth Coastguard were called out at 11.10am after receiving reports of a man who had fallen from a cliff path at Stack Point.
Upon arrival the man's injuries were assessed and Coastguard casualty carers treated the man who was then taken to a local minor injuries unit for further treatment.
While on the call, the team received another call regarding a child who had come into trouble.
A spokesperson for Falmouth Coastguard said: "Team tasked to a report of a male who’d fallen on the cliff path, Stack (Pennance) Point, Falmouth.
"On scene, a male was discovered with a suspected broken leg. Coastguard casualty carers assessed and treated the gentleman.
"He was packaged onto our stretcher and carried out a fair distance to a road and transported to a local minor injuries unit for treatment.

"During this rescue operation, another call came in, to a report of a child casualty at ‘Silver Steps’ near Pendennis Point.
"Falmouth team members were made available if required and also our local full time Senior Operations Officers, who were on station at the time, formed their own team and responded along with "South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust, that incident was swiftly resolved and all units then returned to station for clean down."
Later yesterday evening, Mullion Coastguard were also called into action as a report came in of a man who had suffered a head injury after falling on rocks in Cadgwith Cove.
The team attended the man and applied medical assistance before helping with his transfer to the Cornwall Air Ambulance team.
A spokesperson for Mullion Coastguard said: "Team paged 18.41pm to male who had fallen on rocks and sustained a head injury at Cadgwith.
"The team assisted with medical treatment and transfer of casualty to the helicopter for onward care.
"Thanks to The Lizard RNLI Lifeboat Station , Mullion Community Fire Station and South West Ambulance Trust."
