Penryn Athletic Ladies celebrated finishing second in the Cornwall Women's Football League by announcing a brand new kit for next season.
Despite the challenges of the pandemic they managed to finish the season with an impressive 19 points, winning six, drawing one and losing just three of their games. Their success would not have been possible without the goals of Bethany Churchill, the striker notched 19 goals to finish as runner up in the top scorer chart.
The club secured sponsorship for both a new away kit and personalised kit bags thanks to Penryn Treasures who have continued their longstanding support of the side.
Another company D&T Motors provided the club tracksuits which look equally as smart as the new kit.
The strains of trying to play football throughout these challenging times has been tough. Therefore winning that many matches whilst barely training, enjoying the beautiful game and finishing second in the league is a fantastic achievement for the ladies. If anyone is interested in the joining the team ahead of the 2021/22 season then they get in touch with the clubs facebook page - Penryn Ladies AFC.
