One of TV's favourite comedians Russell Howard has been revealed as the star finale to this year's Falmouth Week.
The comedian, known for his appearances on shows such as Mock the Week and Russell Howard's Good News, is a regular at the annual Edinburgh Fringe Festival performing similar style sets.
Russell will be the star guest at the Falmouth Week Comedy Night, which wraps up a week of activities on land and on the water.
He will be supported by fellow comedians Andrew Bird, who has supported the likes of Rhod Gilbert and Michael McIntyre, Scottish Comedian of the Year Winner Daisy Earl, and New Zealand-born Jarred Christmas.
The comedy night is taking place on Sunday, August 15 and there will be two performances: a matinee with doors opening at 4pm for a 5pm start and an evening show when doors open at 7.30pm for an 8.30pm start.
Tickets cost £30 and will be on sale from next Friday, June 11.
The show is being organised by Southwest Bars and Events in association with Noise Pollution.
Falmouth Week begins on Friday, August 6 and ends on Sunday, August 15.
Other plans for the week include a large interactive gaming screen, 40-foot Victorian carousel, eclectic market and RNLI Fun Day during the daytime, and its famous 80s vs 90s night on one of the evenings, while the the Craig Charles Funk & Soul Show will return on Wednesday, August 11.
On the water will be various sailing races from Sunday to Saturday.
More details are available on the Falmouth Week website.
