A WOMAN in her 80s was taken to hospital today after a vehicle reversed into her, according to police.
The woman pedestrian suffered minor injuries following the collision in Berkeley Vale, Falmouth at around midday today.
An ambulance and a police car were in attendance at the accident outside the Iceland supermarket in Berkeley Vale today at around 12 noon today.
It is reported that the casualty was treated at the scene in the ambulance by paramedics at the side of the road, partially blocking it to traffic, before being taken to hospital at 12.30pm.
There was no actual evidence at the scene to show how serious the accident was but the road was only partially blocked at the time.
Traffic site Inrix reports that the road is partially blocked although traffic appears to be moving.
Inrix reports: "Berkeley Vale Falmouth, partially blocked and slow traffic due to recovery work and accident, a vehicle and pedestrian involved.
Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police were informed at around midday today that a car reversed into a female pedestrian on Berkeley Vale, Falmouth. A woman in her 80s sustained minor injuries."
