An art display featuring land and seascapes will be on display in St Ives throughout this summer.
A selection of seascapes and landscapes by artist Ingrid Brown will be on display at St Ives Library throughout July and August.
The exhibition features works described by the artist as being inspired by the wild beauty of the sea, dunes and coastal landscapes local to her around St. Ives Bay, places that provided rejuvenation and balance in the uncertain times of the past year.
Ingrid says, "I am excited to show this work which hopefully shows my enthusiasm for the incredible natural beauty that is all around Cornwall."
This is Ingrid's first solo exhibition in Cornwall, having previously exhibited in York, and London's Mall Galleries.

On her website, Ingrid describes her practice as currently exploring the: "Restorative themes of nature and places experienced.
"Dramatic effects are often found in the simplest of subject matter and compositional arrangements, whether figurative, scenic or still life.
"Painting and drawing enable me to visually communicate my fascination with the play of light upon form, texture, and the inherent character of things.
"Changes in light and weather can completely alter our perception of something we have passed hundreds of times but have never really ‘seen’ until bathed in light or cast in deep shadow, bringing out form, intriguing shapes, shadows and crevices.
"My work is held in private collections both nationally and internationally."
