The grand opening of a transformed section of Porthleven Shipyard is to take place next week.
The former metalworks warehouse has been turned into a new indoor market and gallery space over the past few months, which will open on Tuesday next week at 10am.
Called The Shipyard Market, it will be home to both permanent and occasional pop up traders including Radish Cafe, Good Vibes Juice Bar, Dungaroos, Truly Cornish Cupcakes and Bakes and La Pineta Italian Food.
Joining them will be The Porthleven Mermaid, The Spirit of Cornwall, Bee’s Vegan Bakery, Mor maids and Spice ‘n’ ice, Pencole Pens and The Incredible Bulk plus others.

Hannabeth Johnson, The Shipyard Market’s manager, said: “I am really excited about opening this indoor market and gallery for emerging artists.
“It is heartening to have the opportunity to give emerging artists and local makers the chance to start small businesses and exhibit their work for sale, especially after the difficult past 18 months.”
The Shipyard Market will also house a large gallery wall, run by The Porthleven Art Community Community Interest Company, which is designed to give emerging artists the chance to exhibit and display their work for sale. Any profits from the gallery will go back into art projects and events in Porthleven.
For the opening day, as well as the food, drink and craft vendors there will also be busking by Akoustek and, to celebrate the unveiling of the Porthleven Art Community Emerging Artist wall, you can get a terrible portrait of yourself drawn by the self-confessed hilariously untalented artist Katy Finnimore of Appalling Drawings, raising who raises money for Cornwall Care.
The Shipyard Market will be open daily between 10am and 5pm, closed on Mondays.
