Five Cornish children's charities will soon see donations made earlier in the year tripled by one of its donors.
Housebuilder Barratt Homes has tripled donations made earlier in the year to five local children's charities.
The additional £15,000 donation brings the total donations made to £20,000.
One of the five charities who have received an additional £3,000 includes Home-Start Kernow which supports parents and families with young children in Cornwall from all backgrounds or situations, such as those struggling with mental health issues or with children with disabilities.
Home-Start trains volunteers experienced in parenting and matches them to families, to offer emotional and practical support to help families get back on track.
They also offer a range of online parent and family support groups.

Barratt Homes has also made further £3,000 donations to Home-Start Exeter, and other children's charities across Devon including Care for Kids North Devon which provides financial assistance to families of children who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness.
The additional support has come from Barratt Developments' national team, who selected the Devon and Cornwall children's charities after seeing the impact of the local division's first donation.
Barrat Homes has said it is committed to supporting the communities they are working in, with Barratt Homes' Exeter division donates £1,000 every month to local causes across Cornwall and Devon.
Debbie Wesley, manager of Home-Start Kernow said: "We are so grateful for Barratt Homes' further donation and contribution to our charity and know that the families and children we work with in Cornwall will benefit from this support.
"This donation means we can help even more local children and families who are going through a difficult time, in particular following the pandemic."
Nicki Reid, sales director for Barratt Homes in Cornwall added: "Now more than ever the work that these charities and their volunteers carry out is so vital for families across Cornwall and Devon. "We are so proud to be able to support them and their amazing work.
"We hope that these additional donations enable them to keep making a positive contribution to the communities we build in."
