Two galleries in Penzance and Newlyn have announced their summer exhibition programme, detailing the exhibits they'll be hosting from late July.
The Newlyn Art Gallery and The Exchange in Penzance have revealed the summer exhibitions the two venues will be hosting until mid October, including paintings, metal sculptures and experimental films.
As of Saturday July 24, both Newlyn Art Gallery and The Exchange will be hosting two exhibitions each until October 2021, with a special launch night event taking place that evening.

From July 24 - October 16, In Your Hands is a group exhibition that has been described as "Connecting international artists with people in Cornwall in collaborations to realise or fabricate their artwork.
"The artists have put the making of their art into the hands of others, placing their trust in them, and embracing serendipitous outcomes."
Also starting on July 24 until September 4 is Facing the Sun by Kitty Hillier, a new collection of two- and three-dimensional work for sale.
Hillier's paintings and sculptural installations comprise layers of overlapping shapes, made with a diverse range of materials.

The Exchange:
Being showcased at The Exchange from July 24 until October 9 is Outside The Algorithm, featuring works from Damjanski, Martin Vargic, Rhiannon Armstrong, and Chez Conversations.
The venue describes the exhibition as offering "A lively space for interaction and reflection, with a range of media and artworks including interactive projections, a controversial electric-acoustic radio album, experimental film from international female artists, creative coding, and meditative GIFs."
Also featuring at The Engine Room at The Exchange from July 24 to October 16 is an exhibition from Shelley Anderson.
The event will feature paintings and metal sculptural works for sale by Newlyn-based Anderson, which are inspired by the coastline and landscape of West Cornwall.
The exhibitions will be open daily from 10am until 5pm and entry costs £4.50, including a gift aid donation.
