A driver who was involved with an incident in Redruth on Sunday has come forward following an appeal, police have announced.
The force were originally called to an incident on Wilson Way in Pool early Sunday evening after a collision involving a motorbike and a car.
The driver of the vehicle did not stop at the scene originally, but has now come forward, the police report.
The motorbike rider sustained multiple serious injuries and has been treated in hospital.
Police have also asked that anyone that may have seen the incident, know anything about it, or be in possession of dashcam footage showing the collision to get in touch with them in order to assist with their enquiries.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police were called to reports of the road traffic collision involving a silver Chrysler car and a motorbike on Wilson Way, Pool, near Redruth at around 5.30pm, on Sunday 18 July.
"The male rider of the motorbike sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
"The driver of the car did not stop at the scene but has since come forward, following a police appeal.
"The road was closed in both directions for a time whilst the scene was examined.
"Officers would like to thank the public for their patience and assistance.
