Firefighters have left the scene after dealing with a chip fire in Porthleven this afternoon where sadly a dog has died.
The fire started in the Landed Porthleven fish and chip shop in Fore Street, Porthleven at around 12.42pm today.
A post on their Facebook page said: "We are sorry to say due to a fire today Landed will be closed until further notice. We will be back online soon to update you all. Thanks for the support and understanding at this difficult time."

An ambulance was in attendance and the police blocked the road.
Sadly a dog is reported to have been found dead at the property.
Critical control says the fire has now been extinguished, all appliances have left the scene and a fire investigation is being carried out.
"Sadly, a dog was found deceased within the property."
Wellington Road was blocked in both directions between Shute Lane and Torleven Road due to the fire.
Critical Control received several repeat calls to a fire in a fish and chip shop.

Appliances from Helston, Tolvaddon, St Ives, Falmouth, Penzance and St Just were in attendance and also two Flexi Duty Officers.
The crews are using four breathing apparatus, two hosereels and one jet to extinguish the fire.
