A leading integrated farming and food business has announced its plans for 100 new jobs in a Cornish town.
Pilgrim’s UK, one of the UK’s leading integrated farming and food businesses, is looking for 100 skilled and unskilled workers to join its team in Redruth from this month (July).
The Pilgrim’s UK site on Wilson Way Industrial Estate serves customers including major retailers and high-street bakers with a range of high quality products.
It currently employs more than 500 full-time staff members, with a further 150 temporary roles, and is now increasing the size of its team in order to meet growing demand across its wide range of product lines.
The vacancies include full-time and part-time roles in its production teams, including operators, slicers and machine setters, with successful applicants being offered a full programme of on-the-job training to help advance their careers.
The site has been in Redruth for more than thirty years and specialises in producing bacon and gammon for retailers and bakeries up and down the country.
