A Cornish cathedral is hoping to engage local volunteers with a fair to promote the various positions available around the Duchy.
Truro Cathedral is set to host a Volunteer Fair on Saturday, October 23 and is inviting businesses in Cornwall to attend the event.
Following the COVID pandemic, many organisations, including Truro Cathedral, are hoping to attract new volunteers with a variety of new and existing roles.
The fair will take place at Truro Cathedral between 10am and 3pm and the cathedral itself is hoping to attract volunteers to find out about new and existing positions.
Like many organisations in Cornwall, Truro Cathedral is run by a team of volunteers and is hoping the fair will be the perfect opportunity for Cornish businesses to band together in offering an event aimed at attracting new volunteers.

Organisers have said there will be a diverse range of participating organisations to help attract increased footfall to the fair.
A spokesperson for Truro Cathedral said: "At Truro Cathedral, our volunteers are valued members of the cathedral community, and we simply couldn’t do all the things we do without them.
"I’m sure, there are many other organisations in Truro and beyond who like us, rely heavily on volunteers, and who may well have found, like us, that following the pandemic, they need to recruit more.
"So to address this need, we decided to host a Volunteer Fair at which is taking place in the Cathedral on Saturday, 23rd October from 10 am until 3pm.
"We hope that by inviting other groups and organisations to come along and take part in the Fair, this will benefit us all by making new contacts and attracting a more diverse range of potential volunteers."
