A swimming group in Porthleven have been raising money for a mental health charity by swimming laps of Porthleven Harbour.
Salty Sisters Porthleven, a local women's casual swimming group which started in 2019, put on a charity swim in which they intended to swim the equivalent distance of Porthleven and the Isles of Scilly.
The swimming group wanted to raise money for mental health charity Mind after discovering outdoor swimming as a way of improving and maintaining their mental health throughout the pandemic.
Salty Sisters Porthleven had set themselves the goal of swimming the distance, which works out as 46 miles, but actually ended up smashing this target and clocking up just under 65 miles.

So far, the group's fundraising efforts have raised £1,330 of their £2,000 target.
Phillipa Mina, a member of Salty Sisters Porthleven, said: "Many of us have found that outdoor swimming has been an incredible way to improve and maintain positive mental health and to cope with challenging times.
"We also want to use our swimming to help give something back to others who might be struggling so are raising awareness and funds for mental health charity MIND."
The group say they want to give back to an industry that is integral to their community and so intend to donate ten percent of whatever they raise to the Porthleven Fisherman's Association in order to support them in their efforts to look after the harbour.
