Its nomination system allows music hubs and services across the UK to put forward schools that they believe have shown a commitment to providing high-quality music education.

Reflecting on the news, Head of Music at Penryn College, Sarah Childs, said: “We are super excited that we have been recognised for our commitment to music.

"I would like to say a big thank you to everyone at the Cornwall Music Education Hub for the nomination, and to Music Mark for rewarding and supporting us.

“It is wonderful to know that we have this support and, as always, we will continue to strive to provide the best opportunities possible for our school community,” continued Mrs Childs.
