Coppice Theatre are helping to bring Father Christmas to Truro this year with a walkabout storytelling and magical grotto experience for families.
Truro Cathedral is hosting the Father Christmas Grotto and unique storytelling experience on four Wednesdays from 1 December.
Finding Father Christmas at Truro Cathedral is more than a grotto, as the audience will be helping the elves search for Father Christmas who is hidden somewhere in the Cathedral and hearing festive tales along the way.
During the walkabout around the Cathedral, hear James Bubb and the singing Cathedral Mouse tell a story while they too search for Father Christmas and his grotto.
Towards the end of the 30-minute experience each child will get to meet Father Christmas in his magical grotto in the cathedral’s crypt, tell him about what they would like for Christmas and receive a gift.
Finding Father Christmas at Truro Cathedral runs 12 times a day on December 1, 8, 15 and 22 from 3pm and requires walking between spaces and traversing staircases.

Tickets cost £6 per child and each ticket covers one child (aged 2 – 12) and one adult.
The event has been made possible due to funding from Truro BID and kind support of Truro Cathedral.

As well as the Finding Father Christmas at Truro Cathedral, Coppice Theatre will also be back in Truro for the third year performing Jack Frost shows.
This year their new festive storytelling show, Jack Frost 5: Lost in Time, takes place in Victoria Gardens amongst new and fun Christmas Lights.
