If you’re looking for a new dog in your life, check out these four pups in need of loving homes.
All of these four-legged friends are currently being cared for by RSPCA Cornwall Branch.
Based at Higher Quoit Farm near St Columb since 1994, it was formed when four existing Cornwall branches pooled resources.
The Centre receives and rehomes unwanted or neglected dogs, cats and small animals from all over the county.
If you’re not currently in a position to adopt a pet, you can also support their work being done by making a donation.
But if you are on the look-out for someone to curl up on the sofa with, here are four dogs who would love to find their perfect match.

Storm
Breed: Staffordshire Bull Terrier crossbreed
Age: Approximately 4 years
Beautiful Storm is not for the faint hearted.
She has a lot of energy and is capable of running incredibly fast and jumping very high. Her new owners will need a lot of energy to keep up with her.
She can be very impatient so will need ongoing training to ensure she does not become frustrated.
She would prefer to be the only animal in the home but could live with children of secondary school age.

Faith
Breed: German Shepherd
Age: Approximately 4 years
Faith doesn't understand how big she is and has a tendency to act like an overgrown puppy!
She will need a patient, calm owner who can continue her training, and in return she will be a gorgeous best friend for life.
She can be quite anxious as she has not had much exposure to the big wide world, she therefore is looking for an adult-only home.
She can possibly live with a calm friendly dog.

Max
Breed: Border Collie
Age: 10 months
Meet Max, at only 10 months old Max has missed out on a lot of his puppy socialisation which has left him worried about new people and situations.
He is slowly learning to trust people and has made new friends since his stay at the centre. He would benefit from a quiet, rural location.
Max is looking for an owner with experience of the breed and that can continue his training to help him flourish into the amazing dog he could be.
He seems to get on quite well with female dogs but is not as keen on other males, so may be able to live with a female dog. He cannot live with cats or children.

Vossy
Breed: Lurcher crossbreed
Age: Approximately 3 years
Vossy is a big, gentle giant and can be a bit nervous of new people and situations.
He will jump up to give you a big bear hug - this is for reassurance but some humans may not appreciate it.
Vossy came from a multi-dog household and gets on with most dogs.
He is a typical sight hound, so won't be good with cats or small furries, but could live with another friendly dog.
