A TURKISH man living in Falmouth has been given a six month conditional discharge after pleading guilty to using threatening, abusive words or behaviour.
Ufuk Dogan, 38, 6 Market Strand, Falmouth appeared at Truro Magistrates' Court on March 2.
The Packet earlier reported that Dogan was owner of Kebab on the Corner in Falmouth. The business denies he has anything to do with them, however Dogan is listed on Companies House as being registered as company director for The Cod on the Corner and the Kebab on the Corner in Market Strand since September 2021.
Dogan, from Turkey, admitted that on April 13, 2021 at Fraddon he used threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour within the ,hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress.
For this offence he was discharged conditionally for six months, ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £22 and to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

The defendant's guilty plea was taken into account when imposing sentence.
An offence of assault by beating on the same date in the same place against a person unknown was withdrawn.
