Sanctions on Russian oil and gas imports continue to cause a rise in fuel prices in Falmouth, Penryn and nationwide.
On Wednesday, March 9 the RAC warned that fuel prices could rise to £1.60 a litre this week in the UK and £1.65 soon after.
Here is a round-up of petrol and diesel prices in and around Falmouth and Penryn as of Friday, March 11.
There were queues at Asda, Penryn this afternoon for fuel as the supermarket ranks as one of the cheapest places to get both petrol and diesel in Falmouth and Penryn.
With both petrol, selling at 156.7 per litre and diesel at 164.7 it is the second cheapest in both categories.
Gulf at Boslowick Garage is offering the cheapest price for petrol in the area at 155.9 but their diesel prices rank second highest at 175.9.
Texaco at Treluswell is the most expensive for both petrol and diesel in the area, with petrol priced at 169.9 and diesel setting you back 185.9 per litre.
The Texaco branch in Penryn is cheaper though, their petrol is the third cheapest out of the list at 156.9 and the diesel is the 163.9 per litre making it the least expensive in the area.
Gulf garage in Longdowns is relatively high for both petrol and diesel with petrol beginning at 163.9 and diesel at 172.9.
