Cornwall's motorists will have numerous road closures to avoid on the roads across Cornwall coming into the weekend and beyond.

Some work has already begun and will last into next week, while others start this evening and are due to take place overnight, lifting by early morning.

There are also a number of closures due to take place next week.

All take place during the evening and overnight.

• A30, from 8pm March 7 to 6am April 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 between Chiverton Cross and Carland Cross traffic signals for Chiverton to Carland improvement scheme.

• A30, from midnight, September 1 2020 to midnight, December 1 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 Carland Cross to Chiverton Cross improvement scheme.

• A30, from 8pm June 30 2021 to 6am December 1 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 Zelah narrow lanes and speed restriction for Chiverton to Carland improvement scheme.

• A30, from 7pm March 24 to 6am March 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 westbound, Tolvaddon to Treswithian carriageway closure for road markings, diversion via A3047.

• A30, from 8pm March 24 to 6am March 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound and westbound, Carminow to Bodmin - Lane closure for inspection/survey.

• A30, from 7pm March 25 to 5am March 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 westbound, Scorrier to Avers - Lane closure for Horticulture (Cutting and Planting).

• A30, from 8pm March 25 to 5am March 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 westbound, Polyphant exit slip road to A30 eastbound, closed for drainage works, diversion via A30 westbound to Fivelanes and return.

• A30, from 8pm March 25 to 5am March 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 westbound, Bolventor entry slip road closure for drainage works, diversion via A30 eastbound to Cannaframe.

• A30, from 7pm March 28 to 6am March 29, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 westbound, Kennards House exit and entry slip road closures for Cornwall Council works, exit slip diversion via A30 westbound to Fivelanes and return, entry slip diversion via A30 eastbound to Pennygillam junction, Launceston.

• A30, from 8pm March 28 to 5am March 29, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 Callestick to Carland Cross - two-Way signals for Horticulture (Cutting and Planting) works.

• A30, from 8pm March 28 to 6am March 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Eastern Green Roundabout to Newtown Roundabout lane closures for horticultural works.

• A30, from 7pm March 30 to 6am April 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 Crowlas traffic signals for Western Power Distribution.

• A30, from 7pm March 30 to 5am April 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Avers - Lane closure for Horticulture (Cutting and Planting).

• A38, from 8pm March 30 to 6am March 31, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound and westbound, between Menheniot and Trerulefoot convoy working for Western Power Distribution.

• A30, from 8pm March 30 to midnight, March 31, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A30 Carminow - eastbound, exit slip closed for horticulture works. Diversion via eastbound to Cardinham Overbridge junction, to turn and return westbound, exiting the A30 via Callywith junction.

• A30, from 7pm April 1 to 5am April 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 westbound, Highgate Hill exit slip road closed for drainage works. Diversion via A30 westbound to Fraddon and return to exit.

• A30, from 7pm April 4 to 5am April 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Highgate Hill exit slip road closed for drainage works. Diversion via A30 eastbound to Victoria and return to exit.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
