A regularly used route in Penryn is to be closed for resurfacing and drainage works next week.
Kernick Road, a section of highway that is used for Penryn College, Penryn RFC, Penryn Football Club, and Penryn Cricket Club to name a few will be closed in the hours of 9:30am-4pm from Tuesday, April 19 until Friday, April 22.
Outside of these hours, the road will be open as normal according to Cormac.
There will be marshals on-site during the work process who are available to support residents and local businesses that require access.
Drivers planning to use that route during the times of the maintenance works are advised to allow for extra time when driving and follow the diversion that is in place.
