A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a Falmouth man, whose dog allegedly attacked and injured a woman, after he failed to turn up at court for a second time.

Truro magistrates issued the arrest warrant with bail for Guy Raymond Edwins, 63 of Glasney Road, Falmouth after his non-appearance at Truro Magistrates' Court.

Edwins was charged with being the owner/person in charge of dog dangerously out of control causing injury. He was due to appear at Truro Magistrates Court on Thursday, April 21 but didn't turn up. He also failed to turn up to a previous hearing on March 24 when another warrant for arrest without bail was issued.
