A woman who pleaded guilty to racially harassed a police officer has been sentenced by a court in Cornwall.
Nadine Khara Macias, 39, of Forth An Venegh, in Bodmin appeared at Bodmin Magistrates' Court on Friday April 22 on one count of racially or religiously aggravated intentional harassment, alarm or distress, one count of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress, and one charge of being drunk and disorderly in a public place.
The offences took place in Liskeard on Sunday, September 19 where Macias pleaded guilty to having been drunk and disorderly on Castle Street.
Macias also indicated a plea of guilty to racially harassing a police officer on the same day.
The offence of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress was withdrawn.
During her sentencing, Macias was fined £240 and made to pay compensation of £150 as well as pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £34.
She received no separate penalty for the charge of being drunk and disorderly in a public place.
The court also noted that Macias' guilty plea had been taken in to account when imposing the sentence.
