More than 1,000 children dressed in white danced through the streets of Helston when Flora Day returned to the town.
Always a picturesque sight, this year was particularly special as it marked the centenary of the Children's Dance. It also saw the dance revert to its traditional starting time of 9.50am.
Leading this year was St Michael's School, with year six pupils Zach, Emma, Jowan and Brea at the very front.
They were followed by Parc Eglos, Nansloe and finally Helston Community College behind the second band.
All the children were dressed in traditional white dresses for the girls, and white shirts and shorts, or trousers, for the boys, with their school colour ties of blue for St Michael’s, red for Parc Eglos, green for Nanlsoe and navy and yellow for the college, and flowers in the girls' hair.
Aimee, Louis, Tom and Lily led Parc Eglos, followed by Beau, Poppy, Kenie and Nia for Nansloe and for Helston Community College it was Bridget Hannaford, James Whear, Toby Porter and Megan Seager taking their places at the front of the school.
