There were plenty of goosebumps and not a few tears when Helston Town Band ended Flora Day on Saturday with a rousing repeat rendition.
A huge crowd gathered around the Guildhall for the return of the Evening Dance, despite it being the final dance of the day.
No doubt helped by the unexpectedly warm weather, plenty of people stayed on in town to see the 7am dancers reprise their roles at 5pm.
They took a slightly reduced route around the town, missing out parts of the earlier dance but adding a brief stop of Lismore.
The dancers also weaved in and out of a number of shops, including Tech Revive in Meneage Street - thanks to Danny and his team for allowing the Packet to take photos there.
At the conclusion of the dance Helston Town Band remained outside the Guildhall to play the Flora Dance a few more times - and after encouragement from the crowd, repeated it as an encore, to plenty of cheers and applause.
