FOLLOWING a successful initial host family meet up on the April 27, Truro Methodist Church and Truro School are inviting the community to drop-in sessions at Truro Methodist Church.
The informal sessions will welcome Cornish host families, prospective host families, Ukrainian guests and those wishing to support Ukrainian refugees in Cornwall.
The drop-in sessions will take place at the Sambells Café in Truro Methodist Church.
They will run every Thursday, May 12 from 10.30am to 7pm, until further notice.
The drop-in sessions at Truro Methodist Church will be an informal opportunity for host families, refugees and those in the community who wish to support the cause, to meet up and chat with others, share stories and resources.
There is no need to pre-book, and food and drink will be available in the Café.
Wherever possible, a Ukrainian speaker will be in attendance.

The partnership between the School and the Church aims to create a central point for refugees and those who are supporting them.
It allows for a consolidation of the resources and help currently being offered for refugees in Cornwall.
As it develops, it will also provide practical support in the form of places to meet for socialising, language and leisure.
The partnership provides a supportive, central network of host families, local institutions and refugees in Truro.
Andy Johnson, Head of Truro School said: "Truro School is delighted to be working alongside Truro Methodist Church as part of a community welcoming some of those displaced by the conflict in Ukraine.
"Cornwall is a county rightly known for its beauty and its hospitality.
"As a compassionate school that is proud to be part of this community, we are keen to offer our help in these circumstances.
"In partnership with TMC we are looking for ways to enable those arriving here from Ukraine, and those hosting them, to be able to find spaces in which to meet, find fellowship, and feel welcomed.
"This event is the start of what we hope will be an ongoing and community-focussed project."
