TWO campsites in Cornwall have been named among the best in the south west as the region takes the top spot for camping holidays in the UK.
Booking platform Pitchup.com created the south west's top campsite list which was based on customer reviews, with more than two million British holidaymakers booking a stay through the platform in the last year.
Porthtowan Tourist Park has been named the second best campsite in the south west according to reviews while Wheal Vreagh Farm, at Wheal Vor, Breage near Helston came in fifth.
