Glendurgan Garden

About: In the three valleys of Glendurgan Garden, you can discover giant rhubarb plants in the jungle-like lower valley and spiky arid plants basking in the sunny upper slopes.

If you wander through the garden down to the hamlet of Durgan, watch birds and boats, skim stones and build sandcastles along the Helford River.

About: Located overlooking the aptly named Discovery Quay, The National Maritime Museum Cornwall is an award-winning museum celebrating the sea.

About: Meet the donkeys rescued from cruelty, neglect and abandonment and enjoy light stacks and homemade cakes in the tearoom.

Visitor entry is free of charge although proceeds from the gift shop do go towards the charity's work.

The centre's priority is the rescues enjoying being free, loved and cared for making it a great place to visit for true animal lovers.

About: Falmouth Lifeboat Station is one of several stations around the coast designated as an 'Explore Station'.

This means it is open to visitors for most of the year with a team of volunteers providing free guided tours of the station's B class Atlantic 85 inshore lifeboat and Severn class all-weather lifeboat.
