As the weekend of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee draws ever closer, residents and visitors across Cornwall will be celebrating the occasion with street parties, parades, and a whole host of Royal events.
The Queen is the first British monarch to reach a platinum jubilee, with the official royal website reading: "On February 6 this year Her Majesty The Queen became the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee.
"It marks 70 years of service to the people of the United Kingdom, the Realms and the Commonwealth."
