Special events have been taking place in Truro today as part of the extended bank holiday weekend to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
The day started with a special broadcast of Trooping the Colour on screens on Lemon Quay.
Trooping the Colour usually takes place to mark The Queen's official birthday, but this year has been brought forward to coincide with the Jubilee.
The parade, featuring soldiers, musicians, and horses, was broadcast live from London on BBC One at 10am.
Following the broadcast there was a Platinum Jubilee Parade through Truro City Centre.
Leaving Waterfall Gardens at 1pm, the parade marched through the city, to Boscawen Street, culminating at High Cross at 1.30pm.
Following the parade, there was an open-air service of thanksgiving for the Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty The Queen, in which people will pay tribute to the Queen, and the City of Truro Male Choir lead the singing. Prior to this, the bells of Truro Cathedral rang out.
Truro's Town crier, Lionel Knight, gave his proclamation on Boscawen Street as part of the official celebrations for Her Majesty The Queen in honour of the Platinum Jubilee.
Other events taking place included a Jubilee Jamboree Afternoon Tea. Two live performances on High Cross - outside Truro Cathedral by Cornwall Dance School.
