A RIGHT royal jubilee carnival procession took place in Penryn last night.
The Penryn Royal Jubilee Carnival parade left from the Memorial Gardens with the Falmouth Marine Band and the Redruth Boys & Girls Brigade.
Embrace Dance group and the Supreme Star Majorettes also took part . Everybody was welcome to come along dressed up in royal attire or similar with a red, white and blue theme.
Meeting at 6.30pm the procession left at 7pm from the Memorial Gardens.
This afternoon (Sunday, June 5) from 1pm to 5pm there is a free ‘Royal Party in the Park’ in Trelawney Park, Penryn.

Gates open 12.30pm with an introduction by the Mayor at 1pm.
There is also a summer fair in King George's playing field Mylor Bridge from 2pm when a tree will be planted in honour of the Queen with stalls, children's activities and a royal festive tea. In the event of bad weather, the fair will take place in the Ord Statter Pavilion.
This afternoon (Sunday, June 5) there will be a jubilee picnic in the park in Kimberley Park Falmouth hosted by Source FM.
To round off the Jubilee celebrations, people are being invited to bring their own picnic and come and listen to some live music in Kimberley Park from 12-6 pm. Hosted by Source FM, the Jubilee Picnic in the park is guaranteed to provide a musical treat for all residents and visitors alike and a fitting end to Falmouth’s weekend celebrations.
